“Think Like an Archivist: Finding Genealogy Records in Archives”

Helps researchers find original records in US and international archives. Whether you had famous ancestors or not, a rich variety of genealogical primary sources in archives are waiting to be found for your family history research. You’ll discover and use online archival portals and finding aids, essential tools to locate hidden genealogical gems in archives.

Nancy E. Loe, MA, MLS, is a genealogy researcher and educator. After a long career as an archivist and librarian, Nancy now writes and lectures on her specializations: organizing research and U.S. and European records. She appears at regional, national, and international genealogy conferences. She recently completed several Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy classes on Nordic and German research.
