The Ventura County Genealogical Society (VCGS) is an all-volunteer, public benefit non-profit corporation financed solely by membership dues and donations. It has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization using EIN 95-3287407. Gifts of any amount will help VCGS provide quality resources and education to everyone interested in researching family histories.
Please consider supporting the Society in one or more of the following ways:
- VCGS Programs – Each month, VCGS hosts prominent speakers who provide information on some aspect of family research of interest to genealogists. These presentations are free to members and non-members. Donations to this fund will help VCGS continue to provide access to these sought-after professionals.
- Library Fund – Donations to the Library Fund will be used to purchase books for our library suggested by the library committee or society members.
- In Memory Of – Funds donated to the In Memory of Fund will be earmarked for purchasing books for the Society library that will have a front piece (or some other description) explaining this book was purchased with donated funds in this person’s memory. When donating to this fund, please enter the name of the person being honored in the Note field on the donation screen that will appear after you select the Donate button below.
